Around the age of 13, Thomas Thibus, began playing in various punk and cover bands. After learning bass,guitar, and drums, Thomas began his venture into electronic music. With a free copy of Frooty Loops in hand, he started off. For years he worked with house,trance and techno. At the age of 17, Thibus got his first set of turntables. After a while of making , Thibus grew tired of making mash-ups of different artists, he felt that there were no more that he wanted to work with. So, He then returned to electronic music and is still working in that genre under the moniker of Tom Ato.
